Mum of three sons and daughter. One of my sons has suffered with BECTS and ADHD and, whilst I have been in the privileged position of having wonderful support from their school, I know this is a rarity. My nephew has also been diagnosed with epilepsy and will be assessed for autism. I know this will be a huge challenge for his mum and dad and the wider family as it is for everyone in this situation. The need to have the ability to navigate the SEN system is essential to avoid any unecessary pain in an already challenging situation. So, this is for Fin, Blair and all of the brave kids and their families.
