I joined Support SEND Kids to help build a network of parents and carers within the SEN community using my social media experience. I have been through a long EHCP process for my child and understand the hurdles families have to cross simply to access what they are entitled to, it is not an easy journey. I have made some lifelong connections with other parents along the way, so am very happy to be able to turn those connections into an online hub of support for others. My main function is to work alongside fundraising to help raise awareness of children with SEND.
