Is there a minimum time that an EHCP needs to be in place before it can be reviewed?
My child has had one for a short period but the school don’t know how to cope, have since reduced timetable below EHCPs 1-1 funded hours and are threatening expulsion. LA pushing back on an emergency review saying not been in place long enough.

    Can't answer yes or no.:

You can call an emergency/interim review if the placement is breaking down and none of the provision in the EHC plan is working. Can the school support you in making this request stressing the urgency? You may also wish to consider whether all of the recommendations for provision from the reports (listed in section K of the EHC plan) have been included in sections B and F of the plan.
